New firmware updates for Nikon D5 and D6 cameras released


Nikon launched new firmware updates for the D5 and D6 DSLR cameras:

Nikon D6 firmware update version 1.50:

  • A [USB] merchandise has been added to the setup menu. For extra data, see the Supplementary Firmware Update Manual.
  • When assigned to a management utilizing Customized Setting f3 [Custom controls] within the [CUSTOM SETTING MENU], [Recall shooting functions] can now be used whereas the digicam is related by way of USB to a tool operating an app equivalent to NX Tether or NX MobileAir.

Nikon D5 firmware update version 1.50:

  • When assigned to a management utilizing Customized Setting f1 [Custom control assignment] within the [CUSTOM SETTING MENU], [Recall shooting functions] can now be used whereas the digicam is related by way of USB to a tool operating an app equivalent to NX MobileAir.
